Born in the 60’s and raised in Teaneck, New Jersey Barry was quickly exposed to his first true loves; blues and rock-n-roll and photography. It was while he was playing guitar in a band with his then-girlfriend and lead singer, that he was taking publicity shots of her that he discovered his true gift: photography. Driven toward his new passion, Barry enrolled at the International Center for Photography in New York City and learned the basics of what makes a “great shot”, which ultimately laid the foundation for his development of a deeper, more personal approach to photography.
